Literacy for Kids, Inc. hosted a Teacher Back to School Event on Tuesday, August 20th. This open house forum, where Greater Detroit Area elementary teachers were invited, was our first LFK project. We wanted to introduce ourselves and offer teachers a celebratory bag of goodies and resources to start off the new school year.
Refreshments, dinosaur cookies, lesson plans for the DLIMH book series, discounted books, and teacher resource material were some of the perks available.
The new complimentary CCSS.ELA-Literacy Lesson Plans K-3 for the award-winning Dinosaurs Living in My Hair book series, helps teachers use our books in their classrooms more easily.
